Pre-print PDFs and other stuff...

Hello,
Just wanted to stop by for a quick update. You should have received an email that the zine version PDF is now available for download from BackerKit, as well as updated versions of the LP booklet version and character sheets. This is all near final, pending another edit pass and thumbs up from the printer. We are getting manufacturing set up at the moment, and don't anticipate any issues there.
The music is coming along, a little more slowly than we had hoped. We've actually had some wild equipment setbacks (damage, lightning strikes, and odd synthesizer behaviors), but we're making our way through it. We don't have anything that's ready to share, just yet, but hope to have something soon.
We'll get another update out as soon as there are a few tracks to share with you all, but until then, rest assured we are hard at work.

Progress Report: Diamond in the Rough

Quick update: Finally the dust of the holidays and year past has been shaken off and we are making progress. We are well underway with our play testing phase, catching last minute edits and adding polish, as well as getting those melodious tones written. So don't think that just because things were quiet we haven't been working!
Obviously this is the 'boring' part of the process were things are being refined to their final form - it's kind of hard to show that, but it's a super necessary step in assuring the quality we've promised. Just bear with us a little bit longer! We're excited to share once things cross that final-final finish line!
CHYMOUS is Coming!

Hey, grvnts!
We realize it has been a little bit since the last update. We have been hard at work getting files ready to send out, and we have some great news today...CHYMOUS is first draft complete! We have locked the orders on BackerKit (check your emails if you need to make any changes) and will be distributing the PDFs for the album-size minecrawl this week.
This is first-pass edit, and the maps are maybe 80% where we'd like them to be, but the adventure is fully playable. Please dig into it and let us know if you find any glaring issues. We'll also be setting up some playtests in the next weeks, so if you can commit to a regular playtest night and want to be credited, let us know on discord.
Over the next couple of months, we will be editing, finalizing the maps and layout, and writing and recording the album. We'll keep you updated as things progress.
Once again, thanks to Sebastian Barth for the amazing art that has really brought this world to life. We'll leave you with another stunning piece that sets the mood from the outset...

Pledge Manager and Pre-Order Store Are Live!

Hello all,
Big news, as the BackerKit pledge manager should be hitting your inboxes today! You can upgrade your pledge, add your address for shipping, and add-on the Farewell core book or box set if you don't have them yet. Any Farewell items will ship separately by the end of November. You will only be charged a single shipping fee, even if you are getting split shipping, so you won't owe anything in the future. It took a little bit to nail down item weights and shipping, but we think we've kept the shipping fees to a minimum.

The book is coming along, with 95% written and first pass edits complete. Still moving things around a bit for layout, but we're on target to get the PDF out by the end of the year. Hard At Work and Pledge Manager Coming Soon

Hello everyone,
We realize it has been a minute since the campaign ended, and wanted to give a quick update about our progress and what to expect through the rest of the year.
We are nearing completion of writing the adventure. Once complete we will do a first pass edit, and then we will need to layer in some of the more complex story elements. It's a lot of flowcharting. We are trying very hard to have the final draft done in early November, so we can then move on to layout.
Art is coming along nicely. We have some near-final versions of four characters. Bigger pieces are being started as writing is completed. Here's a taste of the amazing work that Sebastian has done:
Finally, we are getting everything in place to launch the Backerkit pledge manager in early November, as well. If you pledged for the FtAR core book or box set, you will be able to pay for shipping those as soon as we open. There will also be a pre-order shop, so you can increase your pledge if you don't want to miss out on the deluxe version of CHYMOUS.
That's all for now, but updates will come much more often for the next couple months.
